TASTING NOTE
14% ABV
Vibrant, characteristic aromas of blackcurrants, ripe briary fruits, and mocha entwined with hints of spicy, toasty oak. The full-bodied palate is packed full of juicy ripe blackberries, cassis and dark chocolate characters. A generous wine with supple, silky tannins, fleshy fruit characters and a warm, lingering finish.
The fruit was crushed and destemmed then fermented in a combination of static and Sweeper-arm fermenters at 26 degrees C for 5-7days, using a variety of yeast strains. The various components underwent MLF in tank and barrel.
