Peter Lehmann Stonewall Shiraz 2012



Peter Lehmann works with over 140 growers across the length and breadth of the Barossa Valley region, with access to over 750 individual vineyard sites. The fruit for this wine was predominantly sourced from extremely low-yielding vineyards from Ebenezer, in northern Barossa. The remaining fruit came from Nuriootpa and from Peter Lehmann‘s own vineyard on Stonewall Road.

The grapes were fermented and macerated on skins for up to two weeks with some partial barrel fermentation. After pressing and clarification, matured in 90% French and 10% American hogsheads for approximately 14 months.
